HotelTonight – Columbia Falls Hotels
Recently, I found myself driving through northern Montana, while heading to Canada for a business meeting. I'd been driving for a while and decided to pull off the road and take a break in Columbia Falls. The beautiful little town has so much to offer, I was glad I stopped there. Thanks to the HotelTonight app, I knew I didn't have to worry about paying expensive fees or struggle to find a place to stay at the last minute. The app freed me up to enjoy a fun day in Columbia Falls.
The Area
The city might be in one of the most beautiful locations I've ever seen. The town is nestled in the mountains and is near the Canadian border. The town lies just West of Glacier National Park and is a great place to visit if you love the outdoors. There were so many hiking trails around Columbia Falls, and it also is just a short drive from some beautiful lakes. The great scenery that surrounds the town, it is easily one of the most beautiful places in the state. Because it is such a small town, it almost feels like you are in the wild, even when you're in the heart of the town.
Things to Do
If you love the outdoors, Columbia Falls is the place to be. There were so many signs advertising river trips, hiking trails and Natural Protected Areas that are all just a short drive away. During my day in the town, I unwound from a long drive by taking a hike on one of the many trails surrounding the town. I also spent some time in the city and visited the Montana Vortex and Mystery House, which was a lot of fun to see.
The Food
During my day in the town, I noticed several great looking restaurants. I wanted to try the best that Columbia Falls had to offer, so I asked some locals. They directed me to a laid-back spot that had great food. The place was fantastic, and I was so glad I stopped there for my meal. I had great food and the service was good too. It was a great way to cap off a fun day spent in Columbia Falls. I'll be sure to stop there again the next time I find myself in the area.
