Marble Falls locals enjoy heading out to the lake on warm days so they can go boating, skiing and sun bathing. Marble Falls also hosts the popular Lakefest Drag Boat Races every summer, which attract huge crowds to the town.

There are many reasons why Marble Falls residents enjoy such a great quality of life, and one of these reasons is the abundance of parks in the area. There's the Lakeside Park, Falls Creek Park, Westside Park, Johnson Park and more. Locals head out to these parks whenever they want to get active and enjoy the outdoors, play sports or socialize with friends over a picnic. Since I wanted to experience Marble Falls like a local, I went for runs at the park, joined some pick-up volleyball games and even packed a lovely picnic during my stay in Marble Falls.
