Beaches

Port Aransas is a small, laidback beach town where you'll find anything you could want to enjoy during your seaside getaway. There are cute little eateries and cafes, fun boutiques and gift shops and many great watering holes. The village of Port Aransas is small, so you definitely won't be spending all of your time here, which is great, since there is so much natural beauty nearby to enjoy instead.
Fisherman's Warf
Port Aransas is a fishing village, so if you want to get a great sense of the character and culture of this fishing village, you should check out Fisherman's Warf. Strolling down the docks and the piers of Fisherman's Warf is a fun experience, as you'll see fishing boats pull up with their catch of the day and you can even embark on your own water excursion. Since I wanted to experience Port Aransas like a local, I joined a fishing trip and tested my luck fishing out on open waters.
