HotelTonight – Book Hotels in Fillmore at the Drop of a Hat
I recently found myself traveling through western Utah on my way to Nevada. I'd been driving for hours and decided to take a break, pulling off the highway in the small town of Fillmore. I looked around the quaint little town and decided to spend a day exploring the city and seeing what there was to do in Fillmore. I knew I wouldn't have a problem finding a place to stay, thanks to the HotelTonight app.
The Area
Fillmore is located in western Utah and is located at the base of the Pahvant Mountains. The town is located in a great area for anyone who loves the outdoors. Fillmore is surrounded by hiking trails and is just a short drive away from a natural hot spring. You could also see the remnants of an old volcano near the town of Fillmore. Before visiting the town, I'd never thought much of central Utah but was amazed at how beautiful the area was and how many things there were to see and do in town. Stopping in Fillmore was a great decision.
Things to Do
One of the first things I learned about Fillmore after arriving in town was that it has a rich history. I was surprised to learn that it was the original capital of the Utah Territory. I decided to take the chance to learn more about the area. I visited the original statehouse. Then I visited the Cove Fort located just outside of town. It was another really cool experience and a great chance to learn about the history of the area. On my way back, I stopped by at the natural hot spring and enjoyed some time relaxing there, before heading back into Fillmore.
The Food
After my day exploring the town, I was feeling hungry and ready to eat. I wanted to make sure I got the best food in town, so I asked some locals where to eat. They directed me to a great little drive-in restaurant. I got a hamburger and fries and was so glad I decided to eat there. The food was great and the place had a really cool atmosphere. After my burger, I decided to try a shake and was amazed at how great it tasted. The ice cream was so rich and creamy, it was the perfect way to end a fun day in

Once i'd finished dinner, I was feeling tired and decided it was time to relax for the night. Even though it was short notice, I knew I'd be able to find a great place to stay without any stress or expensive fees thanks to the HotelTonight app. I opened up the app and had a great room booked in a matter of minutes. Breaking up my long drive by spending the day in Fillmore was a great decision. I woke up the next morning feeling refreshed and ready to finish my drive to Nevada.
