HotelTonight – Book Moab Hotels with Ease
I was recently driving through Utah on my way to Arizona. I'd been driving for hours and decided I needed a break. I was close to Moab and have always wanted to visit the area, so I decided to pull off the highway and spend a day in the town. The Area
Moab is one of the most unique and beautiful parts of the state. Located in eastern Utah, the town sits right on the Utah-Colorado border and is just a short drive from Arches and Canyonlands. The town is known for its great outdoor activities and is a destination for mountain bikers and off-road enthusiasts around the world. The town is known for its red rocks, which almost make it feel like you're visiting another planet. I'd always wanted to see Moab and spent some time in the area, so I was happy to have a chance to see what the city had to offer.
Things to Do
Moab is an exciting city to visit and is a sort of Mecca for those who love the outdoors. I wanted to get a taste of the town, so I rented a bike and spent some time riding around the city and on a few of the easier trails in the area. Then I went to Arches and Canyonlands National Parks. Seeing the rock formations in person was something that I'll never forget. In addition to the outdoor activities, the town has several little stores and is home to a number of local shops and cafes.
The Food
I wanted to try the best food that Moab has, so I asked some locals where I should go to grab a bite to eat. They pointed me in the direction of a great restaurant that specialized in buffalo burgers. It was my first time having a buffalo burger, and I wasn't disappointed. The burger was so good and the fries were great as well. The locals had recommended I try a milkshake as well, so I ordered a chocolate shake. It was easily one of the best milkshakes I've ever had. It was so creamy and had such a rich flavor.
