HotelTonight – Book Hotels in Ogden at the Drop of a Hat
I had been in Salt Lake City for a week full of meetings and was feeling a little worn out. After the meetings concluded, I decided to extend my trip to Utah by a day and spend some time in nearby Ogden. With the HotelTonight app, I knew finding a place to stay on short notice wouldn't be a problem. Without the stress of having to find a place to stay, I was free to enjoy a great day exploring Ogden.
The Area
Ogden is nestled up against the Wasatch Mountains and is a truly beautiful city. The tree-lined streets and gorgeous Weber State University campus make it one of the most picturesque cities in Utah. The town is also located in the perfect place for anyone looking to do some hiking, or enjoy the outdoors. It has easy access to several hiking trails, and the scenic Weber Canyon is just a short drive from the city center. Recently Ogden has undergone a lot of redevelopment that has turned it into an exciting and beautiful city. From the historic buildings to the great shops, Ogden has something for everyone. With so much to offer, it's easy to see why Ogden is one of the best cities in Utah.
Things to Do
When I pulled into Ogden, I noticed that the town has a very historic feel. Ogden has strong connections to the railroad industry, and I decided to pay a visit to the historic Union Station and then to the Utah State Railroad Museum. It was a great way to learn some fascinating history of the Ogden area. After that, I made my way to the city center and spent some time wandering around the shops that line the downtown area.
The Food
While I was walking around the downtown area, I noticed so many great looking places to eat. I asked a few locals, and they recommended a local pizza place that serves pizza by the slice. It was easily some of the best pizza I've ever had. The restaurant had so many different kinds of pizza to choose from. It also had a really trendy feel to it and was located in one of the more historic parts of the city. It was a great meal, and I'll be sure to eat there again on my next trip.

After a day of fun spent in the city and a great meal, I was ready to unwind for the night. I'll be sure to spend a lot more time in the city from now on.
