Lacey is home to the historic Saint Martin's University, which was founded back in 1895. Once an all-boys boarding school, Saint Martin's is now a coed liberal arts school, and it's well worth taking a stroll through its beautiful campus if you love old architecture and history. I loved exploring this pristine campus, and I couldn't help but be jealous of the students, who were lucky enough to go to such a beautiful school.
Arts and Entertainment
The great outdoors isn't all that Lacey has to offer. This city actually has an impressive arts and entertainment scene, as it regularly hosts big community events like concerts in the park, movies under the stars and jazz festivals. If you visit Lacey in the spring or summer, you'll be able to attend events like the Lacey Spring Fun Fair or the Dixieland Jazz festival, and you'll be able to get a great feel for what life is like for Lacey locals.
