HotelTonight – Jackson Hole - Wilson Hotels are Just a Click Away
During a recent business trip to Jackson Hole, I found myself with a free day, after I was able to finish up my work early on the morning of the final day of my trip. Instead of heading back home, I decided to spend an extra day in the area and explore the Wilson area of Jackson Hole. I knew I wouldn't have a problem finding a place to stay thanks to the HotelTonight app, so I was free to enjoy a great day in Wilson.
The Area
Wilson is located in Teton County, just west of Jackson Hole. The small town is a favorite among locals and is a great place to visit for anyone who loves the outdoors. Wilson is a beautiful town, tucked away in the mountains and surrounded by some of the most beautiful scenery in Wyoming. Wilson sits at the base of the Teton pass near the border with Idaho. I'd never spent time in the Wilson area before, but could tell I was going to love spending the afternoon there.
Things to Do
If you love the outdoors, Wilson is a must-visit place. It is filled with hiking and mountain biking trails for summer fun and is home to some great snow in the winter. I decided to start my day off with a little hike on one of the many trails around town. It was great to get out in the beautiful weather and enjoy the scenery. After that, I visited the Teton Raptor Center and saw some of the birds of prey that are local to the area. It was really cool and very informative. There was a lot of other great activities I would have loved to have done, if I'd had more time in town. I might have to make another trip to the area again soon.
The Food
After my day of sightseeing, I was feeling hungry and wanted to get something great to eat. I wanted to try the best that Wilson had to offer so I asked some locals where I should eat at. They pointed me in the direction of a great little place that serves sandwiches. The place had a really cool atmosphere, and I could tell as soon as I walked in that it was popular among locals. The sandwich was great, and it was the perfect way to cap off my day in Wilson.

Once I'd finished dinner, I was feeling ready to unwind and relax for the night. I decided it was time to get a hotel, so I opened up the HotelTonight app and, in a few minutes, I'd booked myself a nice room in Wilson. The next day, I woke up feeling great and was so glad I decided to spend the day in Wilson instead of just heading home. I'll make sure to come back to the Wilson area, as soon as I can.
