Recently I was in the city of Spokane for a day with friends, but when something came up for my friend, I was left with a free day in the city. I decided to explore some of the neighborhoods that make up Spokane and headed out to Chief Garry Park. Thanks to the HotelTonight app, I knew I'd be able to find a place to stay, even on short notice, leaving me free to enjoy a fun day in Chief Garry Park.
The Area
Chief Garry Park is one of the most historic and important neighborhoods in the city of Spokane. The neighborhood is truly one of the cornerstones of the city and offers so much to see and to do. Chief Garry Park is located in the Northeastern part of the city and is home to several parks and also is home to the historic Chief Garry Park, which serves as a memorial for Chief Spokane Garry. There is so much to do in the Chief Garry Park neighborhood, and the historic parts of the neighborhood give it a special feel.
Things to Do
The Chief Garry Park is one of the best neighborhoods in the city of Spokane. I started out my day by visiting the historic Chief Garry Park in the center of the neighborhood. It was a great way to start the day, and it was great to take a moment to learn about the great Chief Spokane Garry. Then I headed into the neighborhood to do some shopping. There were so many great stores. After that, I went for a walk around town and enjoyed the beautiful sights of Chief Garry Park.
The Food
As I wandered around the streets of Chief Garry Park, I noticed a number of wonderful looking restaurants. I wanted to make sure to try a great restaurant, so I asked around and got a few recommendations. Several people recommended a great place that served Greek gyros. I was so glad I took their advice. I got a gyro with some Greek potatoes. The meal was delicious. I will make sure to stop by here again the next time I am in Spokane. There were a lot of other great looking restaurants I want to try on future trips to the city as well.
