HotelTonight – Book Hotels in Northtown Spokane at the Drop of a Hat
Work often brings me to the Spokane area, but I rarely have time to enjoy the town. That all changed during a recent business trip when the final day of meetings was canceled. I decided it was time to see what the city had to offer, so I headed out into the city and found myself in Northtown Spokane. I knew that with the HotelTonight app, I wouldn't have to worry about not being able to find a place to stay, even on short notice, so I was free to enjoy the sights of Northtown.
The Area
Northtown is a great area and seems like one of the most exciting neighborhoods in the city. Northtown has it all, and also is located just a short drive from several great hiking trails and the Spokane River, if you want to spend some time in the outdoors. The Northtown area is home to a lot of outlets and shops, which attracts a lot of people to the area and helps to give it an exciting edge.
Things to Do
Northtown is the perfect combination of city life, and the outdoors. In the heart of the neighborhood, there are a number of both local and chain stores that offer everything you could need. But the area is also perfectly located for easy access to the outdoors, and it is just a short drive away from several hiking trails and the beautiful Spokane River. During my day in Northtown, I spent time seeing both sides of the neighborhood. I started out the day by taking in a hike and walking down by the river, then headed into town and visited the great shops and Northtown Mall that are located in Northtown.
The Food
In addition to the great variety of stores in Northtown, the neighborhood also offers some great options for eating as well. I noticed a number of really good looking restaurants while I was in the area and finally decided to get a bite to eat at a local restaurant. I was glad I picked the place I did, because I ate one of the best steaks I've ever had. It was perfectly cooked and left me wanting more. I wish I could have sampled everything on the restaurant's menu. I'll be sure to visit again the next time I am in Spokane.

After a fun day in the city and a great meal, I was ready to get some rest.
